The Klandestines is progressing nicely.

At the head of each new chapter we're having a banner panel illustrated by someone other than Dong. Banners introduce chapters. The banner sometimes includes information, such as if time has elapsed or sometimes the location of the next scene. Generally we want the banners to stand out against the rest of the comic and be a bit experimental. Most banners are image-based and need to include the chapter number.
The comic will be black and white, so colour cannot be a main theme of a banner.

There are five banners in issue 1, below is info about each banner

Banner 1: SIDE BANNER
Chapter 1

Banner2: LENGTHWAYS/ ACROSS ¼ SIZE OF PAGE.
Chapter 2
One month, three days and ten hours earlier…

Banner 3: TOP/ LENGTHWAYS
Chapter 3.
One month, two days and twenty three hours later…

Banner 4: ??? (I CAN’T REMEMBER THE ORIENTATION, I THINK IT’S LENGTHWAYS)
Chapter 4

Banner 5: SIDE BANNER.
Chapter 5
6 Days later.

There might be a sixth banner, which will probably be lengthways at the top and say something like ‘In future episodes…’ or ‘review’. (if there is an emoticon at the beginning of preview I will shake my fist and shake my head at the stupidity of the world.)

Dong hopes to be finished with issue 1 in August, so if anyone wants to do any of these banners, let me know. I’d need them in August some time. I think I asked people before, but forgot who and when etc.

PS: I have fashioned myself a tea travel pack which includes a selection of green tea, oolong, herbal and black tea. It even has an infuser in it, within which are tea leaves ready to brew. I take this travel tea pack around with me for tea emergencies. I love it.
